Originally from the Pacific Northwest, I moved to the Susquehanna Valley in 1990. I’ve been a resident of Mifflinburg for nearly 30 years. As a kid, I moved every 4 years, like clockwork. It was a new adventure in each house, decorating my room, discovering every nook and cranny of an old house, making new friends. The adults probably didn’t see it as the great expedition I did, and as I got older and ventured out on my own, I came to realize the joy and security of owning my own space, putting down roots, and having a home my children could bring their children to. I also realized how much I love real estate. There will likely be no greater purchase made than a house, and no bigger decision than which house you want to call HOME. I would like nothing more than to help others realize the dream of owning their own home, or to ease your mind when selling. These are very big decisions, and I would be more than happy to help you on your way. Staying within your budget, meeting your needs, easing your mind, and making a new house your home, my goal is to help you move forward!!
My time working in retail as both management and hourly for Walmart and Dick’s Sporting Goods might put a name to the face, but I assure you it’s also put me in touch with the economy and needs of our community.
In my spare time I spend time with my family and friends, my grand-puppy, Tank, hiking the PA trails, kayaking, traveling to as many far off places as I can get to, and updating and changing as many things as I like to my own home." -Janet Aikey
